Trey Herlitz-Ferguson is the dynamic founder of Planted Recovery, previously known as R.O.D. Coaching. With over six years of professional experience in the recovery industry and seven years of personal recovery after participating in a wilderness therapy program in Utah followed by eight months in sober living, Trey brings a wealth of knowledge and personal insight to his role.

Driven by a passion to disrupt the cycles of addiction and mental health disorders, Trey has dedicated his career to providing exceptional care and support to adolescents and young adults. His approach blends personal experience with professional training, making him a powerful mentor and advocate for those navigating recovery.

Outside of his professional life, Trey is an avid enthusiast of active pursuits. He spends his free time engaging in sports, hitting the gym, and enjoying the company of friends. He's also a big fan of J. Cole and shares his home with his two beloved cats. Trey's commitment to a balanced lifestyle and continuous personal growth resonates throughout his work, inspiring both clients and colleagues.

Sierra Handley Coach, Outreach Coordinator, Friend

Sierra Handley is a dedicated Women’s Health & Sobriety Coach based in Santa Monica. A NASM Certified Trainer and Movement Specialist, Sierra brings a deep understanding of physical health and well-being to her coaching. Her expertise is further enriched by additional certifications in Neurocentric Training and fitness programs designed for youth with Autism, demonstrating her commitment to inclusive fitness and health strategies.

At Planted Recovery, she combines her passion for wellness with her skills in mentoring to support youth and young adults on their recovery journeys. Her approach focuses on integrating healthy living and mindful movement into everyday life, enhancing both physical and mental recovery processes.

Mitch Williams Coach, Friend

A Baltimore native and creative writing graduate from Denison University, Mitch Williams is not only a three-time National Champion and 11x All-American swimmer but also a beacon of recovery. With a sobriety date from November 11, 2016, Mitch moved to Los Angeles in 2020 to pursue his passion for helping others. He founded Present Moment Recovery, a substance and mental health recovery platform that includes a podcast. Mitch works as a Registered Alcohol Drug Technician (RADT) and has extensive experience as a lead mental health technician at one of LA's premier treatment centers. His early recovery journey inspires his dedication to assisting adolescents and young adults in overcoming substance abuse and mental health challenges.
